From Code to Carving: My Story

For fifteen years, I’ve worked as a software engineer. I know exactly what it feels like to spend your days behind a screen — the endless meetings, the deadlines, the quiet exhaustion that builds up until your mind asks for something more. Not long ago, I hit a serious burnout.
Searching for air, I started hiking — long trails, long distances, hours of walking through forests and dunes. And somewhere along those paths, ideas began to grow: what if I could bring my hands, my talents, and nature together? That’s how I found my way to a piece of wood and a carving knife. What began as healing became a craft: sculptures, pendants, and small works of art, each one starting from a feeling. Today, crafting in nature is a permanent part of my life — the counterweight that keeps me grounded.
Meet Sareh
Craft Together was born from a simple wish: to share that feeling with others. Especially with people who live the life I know so well — digital professionals who spend their days online and rarely get to make something they can actually hold. You don’t need to change your life to feel this; you just need an afternoon, a group of good people, and your own two hands.
In my workshops, there are no screens, no targets, and no winners. Just a group of people in nature, carving, creating, talking, laughing, and sharing good food. You’ll leave with something you made with your own hands — and maybe with a little of the balance I found here too.

Growing, One Workshop at a Time
Craft Together is young — and that’s the beauty of it. Our first workshop brought five people together in the forest for an afternoon of carving, coffee, and conversation. It confirmed everything this idea stands for. Now we’re growing, one workshop at a time.
